You are interested in designing t-shirts but you don't have that much money to spend. Maybe you are looking for company t-shirts for your employees or for an event. You might even think about designing t-shirts for your next family gathering. It may not seem easy to achieve this on a low budget, but nothing could be further from the truth. This blog post will help you to design those t-shirts on a small budget, get a lot, for little!
It all starts with your t-shirt design. We recommend sticking with 1-3 color prints. Not only will this be more cost-effective, but the best looking t-shirts mostly consist of 2-3 color prints. Check out some examples below.
You know what they say, less is definitely more! So don't be afraid to “stinge” and keep to only one or two colors in your design. It might even make your artwork stand out if you use the right color combinations!
The next point where you can save money is strategically determining the placement of your design. It may sound obvious, but the more positions you print on, the more it will cost. But as the examples above, it is not necessary to print on the front, on the back, and on both sleeves your t-shirt. Try squeezing your extra prints and logos in one area of the t-shirt; usually the front and/or back.
With SaltyExpress, our sister company, you have the opportunity to design your t-shirts without breaking the bank. For instance, a two-color silkscreen printed t-shirt from SaltyExpress will only cost you RM18-20 per piece!
You can also enjoy discounts when you hit certain quantities. For example...
We use 100% soft cotton t-shirts and quality plastisol ink for screen printing. Rest assured that we take our QC (Quality Control) process seriously, and carefully inspect your t-shirts before sending them out to you.
What's more, our average turnaround time is 10 days from order confirmation. Too good to be true? Click here
